Ben Folds, the academic of alternative music, is known for somber songs about teenage abortion, broken hearts, regret, and various other complicated topics.
This song is not one that he is known for.
It is, however, about a bizarre Christmas incident. It might be a little graphic and offensive for the squeamish. That means it’s right up my alley, especially this time of year.
