This is another one of those songs from the late 90s that just feels like it is from the late 90s. It’s a sound that us Gen Xers just can’t get away from. It’s always there in the back of our minds, tingling, tickling, reminding us that there was a time in which we closed down the bars.
It’s bitter sweet. It’s alternative. It’s almost prescient in its implication that this all has to end someday.
Or maybe I’m just in the throes of a midlife crisis.
