Project 365 Day #236

“Handlebars” from the album Fight With Tools, released in 2007

With a cool, simple tone, and a hard, straightforward theme, the Flobots drop knowledge bombs all over anyone willing to listen to “Handlebars.” The band’s only really big hit, parodied to disastrous results by Logan Paul, the YouTube star everyone loves to hate, “Handlebars” is reminscent of country western storytelling songs. The message though, about a corrupt system that can corrupt even the best of us, is more than relevant and will be forever.

Give it a listen.
