“Run-Around” from the album Four, released in 1994
Blues Traveler is a good band. They have a bluesy, alternative, jam band sound that belongs in the background of every good night. “Run-Around” is one of their biggest hits for that reason. But, when you add their inventive and subversive video into the mix, it becomes something more than just a fun jam of a song.
It’s a critique of the music industry in the 1990s. And something tells me it still holds weight today.
That’s not worth nothing.
