Project 365 Day #344

“Winter Wonderland” from the album A Very Special Christmas, released in 1987

Written in 1934 and not technically a Christmas song, since its first recording, it has been considered just that. So, technicality aside, it’s a Christmas song.

According to Wikipedia, it’s also been covered by over 200 different artists. The Eurythmics’ version is my favorite. Musically, it might not be the best. Some of you may find a more traditional sound more appealing. And I get that. But for me, as this version appeared on the scene during my most formative years, it will always be the best.

Annie Lennox is a goddess walking among us.

That is all.
