There are so many country singers who wish they were Jimmy Buffett that it is kind of embarassing. Zac Brown isn’t one of them, but this song has the natural Buffett vibe, so he gets the honorary consideration.
And speaking of escapism! They don’t even try to hide it in a clever metaphor. They just lean in on this one. And I can respect that as much as I can respect the cool, chill rhythm and beat.
I wish there were more like this coming.
