Some songs just hit right. “Weekend” is one of those songs. It was released in 2022 by a band whose pinned tweet reads “hi! we’re very excited to be on twitter, another step in proving that we are a real band.”
So that should tell you something about the sardonic nature of their music. Luckily, it isn’t only sardonic and hilarious, but it’s really, really good.
You will not be finding a lot of techno-influenced music on this list, so trust that the ones that make it are like this one, really, really good. Listening to this one takes me back to the rave scene of the 90s only instead of a dumb ass teen, I’m a depressed adult.
It’s the best of both worlds!
