“Copperhead Road” by Steve Earl

The song earns its spot on my list for two reasons. First, it has the blue grass/rock sound that appeals to my strange tastes. Second, it is a well told story.
You put these two things together and you’ve got me.
Earl himself calls the music on the overall album as bluegrass meets heavy metal. For me, that’s all the description I need to want to know more.
