This is my current favorite club party song. You might be thinking, “Why, man? This is just a kind of basic banger.”
To respond, I offer this quote from Wikipedia:
“The song is an electro-disco and nu-disco song with several disco tropes. It incorporates elements of dance-pop, pop-funk, power pop and space rock, as well as 1970s, 1980s and 1990s pop and R&B styles.”
If an artist can mix all of that into a sweet little package such as “Levitating,” then, as far as I’m concerned, you’re on the right track.
